STRETCH OF THE WEEK:
Wall Leaning Soleus And Achilles Stretch
This #stretch is best for Gymnasts, Rock Climbers, Trail Runners, Hikers, Or anyone else who finds they have tight calf muscles and or tight achilles . All you need is a wall!
- First extend both arms out in front of you and place hands flat on the wall to brace yourself
- Place lead foot flat on the ground 6 inches away from the wall, and the back foot flat on the ground 6 inches behind the first
- While keeping your chest upright and keeping both heels pushed hard flat to the ground, lean your knee of the back leg as far forward as you can without lifting your heels until you feel a stretch in the back legs calf where it meets the achilles
- Hold for 20-30 seconds and repeat on other leg
